For group advisory services, I draw on a method called the Way of Council. This practice is connected to the tradition of gathering in a circle to share stories, typical of many indigenous cultures all over the world. This tradition has been re-adapted over the last 40 years by Jack Zimmerman, Virginia Coyle and others members of the Ojaj Foundation, California, USA. In the context of advising groups, Council as a method of sharing experiences, focuses on empathy and active listening. This practice is highly effective in addressing difficult subjects and strengthening group dynamics. By using Council as a foundation, business problems can be addressed in a more collaborative and dynamic manner. With this package, we would, together with other stakeholders, identify which area of the group’s dynamics should receive priority right now. After we have identified the area of focus, we will meet virtually every 2 weeks for a total of six 90-minute group sessions.
