COURSE

Why

The world of work is generating more people data than ever before, yet most HR and IOP professionals are left on the sidelines, either waiting for a data scientist to produce insights or making decisions without the evidence they need. Hiring dedicated data scientists is expensive, and those who come from a pure data science background often miss the nuances that only someone with deep people knowledge would catch. The solution isn't to become a data scientist. It's to become a smarter consumer and producer of people data. People Analytics for Non-Data Scientists gives HR and IOP professionals the practical tools to ask better questions, collect cleaner data, and turn numbers into decisions.

Course format

The course takes you through a structured, six-step analytics workflow that mirrors what real-world people analytics projects look like from start to finish. You'll begin by learning how to define the right question, because analysis built on the wrong question is analysis wasted. From there, you'll explore how to select the appropriate measurement instruments and scales, structure and collect your data responsibly, clean it up for analysis, and then interpret what you find. The final step is arguably the most important: translating your insights into a compelling narrative that actually influences decisions in your organisation. Along the way, you'll work with practical tools including Google Sheets, Google Looker Studio, tally, and even a little bit of SPSS. No programming. No advanced statistics. Just rigorous, grounded, accessible people science.
